Sonny Allen has over 41 years of real estate related experience. He obtained his real estate license in 1981 and became a broker in 1985. Sonny holds a Bachelor of Science Degree from Sam Houston State University with an Agriculture Business major and minor in Real Estate.
Sonny founded West Pole Land & Ranch in 2009. In 2021 Sonny and West Pole joined forces with Keller Williams Realty. The more expanded global platform of Keller Williams allows West Pole Land and Ranch Team to reach buyers from all aspects of the marketplace. Especially out of state buyers. Additionally, Keller Williams creates access to a team of agents, marketing, and support staff and allows West Pole to better assist in serving you.
Sonny has an extensive range of experience including real estate brokerage, agricultural land valuation, commercial appraisal, real estate finance, and ranching. During the 1990s, he managed mortgage operations for several national mortgage banks including Chase Manhattan and Mellon Mortgage Corporation. In 1998, Sonny founded Integrity Home Mortgage, LLC based in Austin Texas. Integrity Home Mortgage has been nationally recognized as a leader in mortgage origination systems and mortgage planning.
Sonny loves helping clients with land and ranch real estate. “I get to do most days what most guys hope they get to do on the weekend.” Sonny has the experience and passion to give his clients the best representation possible. He knows land, ranching, wildlife, and is very capable at guiding his clients through tough negotiations and complicated transactions.
Growing up in Madisonville, Texas, Sonny was raised in a ranching environment in a rural area. He was a leader in FFA having achieved the American Farmer Degree and started his own cattle operation while still in high school. He went on to participate on the rodeo team at Sam Houston State University. Sonny grew up hunting and fishing and has a deep love for the outdoors. He has extensive experience with wildlife management and a full knowledge of rural property.
