Shops & Barns

Next to the main homes is a 60x40 metal shop with electricity. There is also a 60x30 lean to attached to the southern part of the shop that is great for parking your equipment. North of the shop are working pens.

Fencing & Gates

The entirety of the ranches boundary is fenced with barbed wire. Fencing is moderate to good. The only entrance to the ranch is off of County Road 362 on southeastern corner.

LAND & WILDLIFE

There is approximately 90-100 acres of cultivated ground on the southern and eastern part of the ranch that has primarily been used for wheat. The rest of the ranch is used for grazing and hunting. Multiple draws off of the Pease River provide great coverage for wildlife. Whitetail deer, mule deer, rio grande turkey, hogs, bobcats, and an occasional cat roam the ranch. Lawson Ranch has not been hunted very hard over the years so there has really been no pressure on the wildlife.

There are two primary ponds on the ranch. Depth is unknown. The main pond west of the home is right under 2 acres.

Seasonal Creeks & Secondary Ponds

There are at least 8 seasonal creeks that run through the ranch all feeding the Pease River.
