Tim Murray

Timothy Murray is the founder and principal of Murray Ag Real Estate, where he leads all aspects of the firm’s operations and works directly with clients to achieve their goals in agricultural property transactions. Known for his thoughtful and solutions-driven approach, Tim is dedicated to delivering successful outcomes for growers and investors while building lasting relationships founded on trust, respect, and integrity.

A first-generation citrus grower in Tulare County, Tim brings a unique combination of local agricultural expertise and a broad international perspective. His diverse professional background includes leadership roles at leading financial institutions and technology companies, where he built high-performing teams and scalable partnerships. Today, he applies that experience both in managing his own citrus operations and in navigating complex real estate transactions on behalf of his clients.

Tim earned a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Columbia University and is a licensed real estate Broker with the California Department of Real Estate and a REALTOR®. He also previously held FINRA Series 7 and 63 licenses.

An active advocate for the agricultural community, Tim serves on the Board of Directors of California Citrus Mutual, where he also chairs the Government Relations Committee. Tim is also currently a California Agriculture Leadership Fellow (Class 54). He previously served on the Boards of Sunkist Growers, Inc. and Fruit Growers Supply from 2023 to 2025, where he served on the Finance and Audit Committee.
