Lani Rust grew up in the small town of McGregor, Texas, just outside of Waco, where her family farmed and raised cattle. Her passion for horses began early and led her into the world of horse shows, barrel races, and rodeos throughout her youth. Lani continued rodeoing through high school and college, where she learned the grit and determination that still define her today.
A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Class of ’01, Lani earned her Bachelor of Science in Agribusiness and was an active member of the Texas Aggie Rodeo Club, helping organize the annual All-Aggie Rodeo—an event that brought students and Aggies from across the state together to compete and celebrate their shared traditions.
After graduating, Lani and her husband moved to Stephenville, Texas, where his family has long been involved in training and showing cutting horses. That deep connection to the horse industry, combined with her agricultural background, gave Lani a strong understanding of both land and lifestyle—an insight she now brings to every client relationship.
Lani’s business centers on helping clients buy and sell residential, ranch, and rural properties across Central and North Texas. She believes the best part of real estate is spending time with clients out on the land, helping them find a property that truly fits the way they live and work.
Beyond real estate, Lani stays deeply involved in her community and professional organizations. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Texas REALTORS® Land Institute, is an active member of the Stephenville Association of REALTORS® Board, the Stephenville Athletic Booster Club, and the Stephenville Area Aggie Moms Club.
Lani and her husband live south of Stephenville with their two daughters—her oldest, a proud member of the Fighting Texas Aggie Class of ’29, and her youngest, a sophomore at Stephenville High School. The Rust family remains active in their church and community, carrying forward the same work ethic and values that shaped Lani’s path from the arena to real estate.
