Michelle's professional journey began at the University of Maryland in Okinawa, Japan, where she studied marketing, developing an early appreciation for strategy, communication, and understanding diverse markets. Shaped by growing up in a Department of Defense family, living throughout the United States and abroad, she developed a global perspective rooted in cultural awareness, adaptability, and respect for service, qualities that continue to inform her work today.
With an extensive professional background in project management, contract administration, negotiation, and client advocacy, Michelle is known for her ability to manage complex transactions with clarity and confidence. Her career includes service with the U.S. Department of the Treasury, where she managed U.S. case reports for the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, Maryland, serving on a federal task force and operating under strict fiduciary responsibility while holding a Top Secret security clearance, a reflection of the trust, discretion, and accountability she brings to her work today.
Michelle's experience also spans the healthcare sector, including leadership roles at Emory University Hospital in Atlanta and Broward General Medical Center in Fort Lauderdale, where she worked in surgical operations and nursing administration. These roles sharpened her ability to navigate high-stakes environments, communicate effectively across teams, and manage details with exceptional care.
Her passion for land runs deep. Introduced early through her mother’s work with the Army Corps of Engineers, Michelle developed a lifelong respect for land stewardship and long-term value. As a landowner herself and a long-time resident of the Texas Hill Country, where she has lived since moving to Texas in 2011, Michelle understands both the emotional and financial significance of land ownership.
Michelle's life is deeply rooted in this community. She has been married for 27 years, and together she and her husband have raised two wonderful sons who grew up in the Texas Hill Country. She prefers the outdoors to the indoors and finds balance and inspiration through hiking, biking, time on the lake, and days spent at the beach. A dedicated yogi for over 26 years, she brings the same discipline, mindfulness, and grounded presence to her personal life as she does to her professional work.
In 2017, Michelle launched her own e-commerce business, building her website and operations from the ground up. Drawing on her background in event planning and project management, she also led community initiatives that raised awareness and support for local charitable organizations. In 2020, she chose to step away from her business to home school her son for two years, a season that reinforced her values of leadership, adaptability, and service.
With her children now grown, Michelle chose to fully pursue what she had long envisioned, a career in real estate, where she could dedicate 100% of her focus, experience, and care to her clients. Today, Michelle is a licensed Texas REALTOR®, specializing in KW Land®, Residential Real Estate, Estate Planning, and Luxury Properties. As a member of KW Land®, she is supported by a platform known for its deep expertise and proven success in land real estate. She also offers her clients a trusted network of lenders, inspectors, contractors, and service professionals to ensure a seamless and well-supported experience.
Deeply committed to her community, Michelle has served on multiple charitable boards in the San Antonio area and currently serves on the board of Hearts & Hands, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit with Keller Williams Heritage Realty, which to this day has raised over $1M for local charities. Michelle measures her success not by volume, but by trust earned, relationships built within her community, and clients who feel confident, protected, and genuinely cared for.
