Born and raised in Midland, the oil capital of West Texas, Mark R. Watson brings over two decades of experience in real estate and land services. While his roots are in Texas, he now thrives in Wyoming, holding real estate licenses in Wyoming, Montana, Texas, and Arkansas.
Mark's career began as a second-generation Registered Professional Land Surveyor in Texas, driven by a vision to provide precise and reliable land services. This vision culminated in his leadership as President and CEO of Cross Texas Land Services, a successful multi-million-dollar firm with past operations spanning Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and Oklahoma.
Throughout his career, Mark has expertly managed and facilitated a wide range of real estate ventures, from complex, large-scale projects to assisting families in achieving their dreams of a small farm. He has earned a strong reputation for accuracy, problem-solving, and leadership.
Beyond land services, Mark's entrepreneurial spirit led him to found Compass Rose Cellars, an award-winning Texas winery. His personal passions include photography, ranching, and winemaking, and he enjoys playing polo and taking long walks with his Labrador, Remi. God and family are central to his life; his daughter, Jordan, is a coach/teacher in Fort Worth, and his son, Remington, follows in his footsteps as a land surveyor in Austin.
