A skilled bladesmith and primitive skills/bushcraft practitioner, he has been an active member of the Earthskills community for over 15 years, volunteering at gatherings across the Eastern Seaboard. His extensive knowledge of local flora and fauna reflects his commitment to living in harmony with the land. Originally from Atlanta, Justin earned a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design from Georgia State University, where he developed a keen eye for detail—something that carries over into every aspect of his work. Drawn to the mountains and a thriving community of primitive skills enthusiasts, he made Asheville his home. Justin understands what it takes to find the perfect property for homesteading, off-grid living, or crafting a sustainable lifestyle. Immersed in this community, he has visited and studied a wide range of homestead setups, gaining firsthand insight into what truly works. He collaborates closely with experts in permaculture design, regenerative agriculture, ethnobotany, and arboriculture to help clients maximize their land’s potential. As a craftsman himself, Justin also recognizes the unique challenges of creating a workspace tailored to one’s trade, whether it’s blacksmithing, woodworking, or other hands-on disciplines.
