Born in Fort Worth, Texas, Austin is a proud native Texan. He was raised in Glen Rose, a small Hill Country town about an hour southwest of Fort Worth. After graduating from the University of the Incarnate Word with a Bachelor of Science in Business, Austin played golf professionally for six years, travelling to over 17 different countries, before starting in real estate in 2019.
